    Skinfull

A planned social with friends finally came round and the swims were chosen. After a quick chat with Ali he showed me the Skinfull which I was yet to use. As soon as I looked at it I knew it would be perfect for my solid bag presentation. So I borrowed some and quickly had some bags out on the spots. The following evening I landed this awesome mirror known as Droopy at an ounce under 35 pounds.

The perfect end to what has been a brilliant year! I look forward to making use of the Skinfull next year!

    Components used:

    FLX mainline
    Linteq leader material
    Hydrolink hookink

Scott tamed these two stunning mirrors both only ounces under the magical 30lb mark during a recent stalking session

After taking some time away from the lake for the summer due to work commitments Scott relit the fire and started baiting a few new spots in preparation for the winter.

A cheeky couple of hours on the new spots produced these two stunners. What a way to start the winter campaign

Flx mainline, linkteq leaders and rigs tied from Hydrolink all helped keep everything concealed in the gin clear water

    Top angling Scott

    Martin Burton

After having an amazing spring Martin had been hearing stories of lake which had some real nice uns that got the old cogs ticking again

Martin purchased himself a ticket and spent his time flitting between this water and another. The new one is a bit too busy for his liking and a fair drive but the fish were worth the effort.

Martins plan was to fish overnighters inbetween work arrangements and the odd weekends.
With the nights drawing in the overnighters started to come good and the odd one was coming out in the dark hours.

One of these overnighters Martin received the take he was waiting for. A spirited battle commenced and after switching the torch on and peering into the net there was a very special fish laying within the folds.

This fish completed a little accumulator that Martin had ticking away in his head for the season ! Just over 41 lb this completed his set of three 40s from three borough's and topped off what's been a great season for him.
